Head of Technical Training

Thomas-Benjamin Fischer

Hi, my name is Thomas-Benjamin Fischer. I started as an apprentice at WASSERMANN in 1999.

After my apprenticeship, I worked in production, in the turning shop, milling shop, and grinding shop for 7 years. Then I worked in assembly for 10 years. This means I have experience in all the technical departments of our company. I qualified as a trainer through the company in 2018.

I really enjoy working with young people. It is incredibly motivating to see how much enthusiasm they bring to learning their skills. Watching them develop into professionals is just brilliant!

Assistant Head of Technical Training

Dominik Schreiner

Hi, my name is Dominik Schreiner. I completed my apprenticeship as an industrial mechanic at WASSERMANN between 2014 and 2017. Even during my apprenticeship, I enjoyed supporting the younger apprentices and showing them the ropes. This enabled me to attend a mentoring training so I could offer even better support to Thomas-Benjamin with the apprentices.

After my apprenticeship, I worked in assembly for 2 years. During that period, we had about 20 apprentices to look after, so the cooperation with the training department never really stopped. In 2019, I was able to obtain my training certification through WASSERMANN. Since then, I have been working as Assistant Head of Training in the company and I really love it.

My job offers a lot of variety and the opportunity of always meeting new people. One thing is for sure: It is never boring around here!

Asst. Head of Design Engineering & Development, focus: control systems

Michael Jestädt

Hi, my name is Michael Jestädt. My career started in 2003, initially with an apprenticeship as an electronics installer in the field of automation technology. After my apprenticeship, I took a course as a state-certified technician and also became a certified trainer. I studied for my bachelor’s degree in business engineering in the field of electrical engineering at the University of Applied Sciences in Fulda and then got my master’s degree in business engineering in the field of mechanical engineering at Kassel University.

Now I am Assistant Head of Development & Design Engineering with a focus on control systems, and I and my team will be there to offer support and advice throughout your apprenticeship.

When I work with apprentices, I am always amazed to see how the personal skills and capabilities of each individual develop over time. I can teach apprentices a lot by passing on my skills and knowledge, but I always find that I can learn quite a bit from them as well.

Commercial Training

Lisa Herget

Hi, my name is Lisa Herget. I completed my apprenticeship as a wholesale and export clerk in 2019 and then attended a part-time course to become a state-certified business administrator.

Since completing my apprenticeship, I have been working in Materials Purchasing.

I really enjoy teaching apprentices about commercial professions and offering them support and advice. In 2020, I therefore decided to become a certified trainer.

What I like most about my work as a trainer is to see how the apprentices develop on a personal and professional level during their time with us.
